Thirsty home invader arrested, police say - A paroled convict arrested in a recent daytime home invasion planned to sexually assault a woman, police say.

Aundrey Cortez Wiley, 29, of Pontiac is jailed in lieu of $500,000 bond in the Aug. 28 incident and is scheduled for a preliminary exam Friday in Royal Oak 44th District Court on a charge of first degree home invasion.

Wiley was arrested Sunday just minutes after he fled a house in the 3600 block of Durham, police said. A 34-year-old resident at the address said she returned home around 11:30 a.m. and surprised an intruder, who fled outside and sped off in a silver Monte Carlo. Timothy Snyder beer,

He declined to provide details, pending investigation of Wiley by his department and other police agencies who are interested in him in connection with similar crimes.

"He (Wiley) is on our radar, and we've talked to him," said Bloomfield Township Police Capt. Steve Cook. "He is uncooperative, and our investigation continues.
